Roma captain Francesco Totti will reportedly be included in Rudi Garcia’s starting line up for the capital city club’s next Serie A match against Frosinone.
The 38-year-old Giallorossi legend is yet to make an appearance for the team this season, as he remained on the bench for the Stadio Olimpico outfit’s first two games of the season thus far, though it seems like he may finally be set to appear in the upcoming away clash with the newly promoted Canarini on September 12.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Totti will be paired up front with new Roma striker Edin Dzeko with hopes of scoring goal number 300 for the Lupi, as the veteran forward currently has 299 goals for his boyhood club in all competitions and needs to net just one more to reach the milestone.
The Giallorossi captain managed to score eight goals and provide six assists in his 27 Serie A appearances last term and, despite his 39th birthday coming on September 27, is still yet to speak on any possible retirement plans.
