Garcia: I’m satisfied with this Roma squad

By Joe Avicolli

Roma boss Rudi Garcia has revealed that he’s satisfied with the current group of Lupi players that he has at his disposal despite rumors claiming otherwise.

The Giallorossi had received some criticism following the end of the summer transfer window, as some believe that the capital city club failed to secure players in positions that needed more strengthening, though the 51-year-old insists that he has multiple players that can adapt to new roles on the field.

Garcia spoke during a pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Roma’s clash with Frosinone on Saturday about his squad and praised his men for their ability to do what is asked of them.

“The team is short of certain roles? I’m always happy with my squad, my task is to work with what I have,” said the Frenchman.

“If I think something is missing in a certain department, then I see which players can play multiple roles.

Alessandro Florenzi is one of these players. Daniele De Rossi also showed that he can play at a high level in the defense in our victory over Juventus.”
