Francesco Totti Top Ten Serie A Goals

In a Career spanning twenty two years Francesco Totti has been a club idol for his hometown club AS Roma. At the weekend against Sassuolo he netted his 300th Career goal with a scuffed finish past Andrea Consigli and the Sassuolo defence, he may have been offside when Miralem Pjanic played the ball forward.

  1. AC Milan vs AS Roma. 2006/07

The opening goal for Roma in a fantastic 2-1 away win in the San Siro in the 2006/07 season. Roma took the lead six minutes into the game when Rodrigo Taddei picked up on a poor clearance and lofted the ball to Totti who volleyed home past the outstretched Dida.

  1. Bologna vs. AS Roma 2003/04

Roma defeated Bologna emphatically 4-0 in this game, a corner was played in from the right and found Totti on the edge of the area and he hit a fantastic left footed first time volley into the bottom corner.

  1. Brescia vs. AS Roma 2002/03

This was the second goal for Roma and Totti in Roma 3-2 away win at Brescia. The pick of his hat-trick when Totti curled a brilliant free kick into the top corner.

  1. AS Roma vs. Udinese 2000/01

The second goal for Roma in their 2-1 home win over Udinese in December 2000. A cross from the right hand side from Cafu found Francesco Totti who hit a fantastic left footed volley into the far corner.

  1. AS Roma vs. Sampdoria 2003/04

The third goal for Roma and the second for Francesco Totti and a moment of genius from Il Capitano. Totti picked up the ball deep in the opposition half and glided past the Sampdoria defence and chipped past the onrushing Sampdoria goalkeeper into the far corner.

  1. AS Roma vs. Lazio 2014/15

The second goal for Totti and for Roma in their 2-2 home draw against city rivals Lazio in a rain soaked capital. Jose Holebas danced past his full back and crossed in from the left to Totti who acrobatically volleyed into the far corner at the back post. Totti then celebrated in front of the Curva Sud taking a selfie.

  1. Lazio vs. AS Roma 2001/02

The Vincenzo Montella derby when the former Roma struck 4 in a 5-1 fantastic away win. Totti added the cherry on top with a fantastic chip from 25 yards out over a stranded Lazio goalkeeper.

  1. AS Roma vs. Juventus 2012/13

The game deadlocked at 0-0 after 57 minutes, Miralem Pjanic hit a weak free kick which was poorly cleared and Totti hit a rocket of a shot from just outside of the area into the top corner.

  1. Sampdoria vs AS Roma 2006/07

This was the fourth goal for Roma in their 4-2 away win at Sampdoria. Marco Cassetti played a diagonal to Francesco Totti on the left hand side of the area, Totti hit a fantastic first time volley with his left foot into the far corner.

1 Inter Milan vs AS Roma 2005/06

This was the second goal for Roma in a 3-2 away win at the San Siro and it was a moment of magic from the Captain. Totti picked up the ball from deep riding a couple of tasty challenges from the Inter Midfield, then from twenty five yards he chipped the stranded Julio Cesar who looked rooted.
