Roma are still reportedly looking to sell Gervinho despite his satisfying performance in the Lupi’s recent 3-1 friendly win over Valencia.
The 28-year-old, whose current contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire in June 2018, has been heavily linked with a move away from the capital city club since the start of the summer and it seems like his future may now lie in Turkey.
According to Il Tempo, Roma would rather sell the Ivory Coast international and keep Adem Ljajic, who has also been rumored to be close to an exit from the Stadio Olimpico outfit, while the former Arsenal man would favor a move to Turkey if he were forced to leave the Lupi this summer.
The forward put on a good performance for his team in their friendly victory over Valencia on Saturday, providing an assist to new Giallorossi signing Mohamed Salah to open up the scoring, as well as a goal later on to fully seal the win.
Gervinho scored just two goals and provided five assists in his 24 Serie A appearances last term.
