Roma boss Rudi Garcia has revealed that the capital city club are hoping to have an all-around great 2015/16 campaign, but admits that his main mission is leading the team to Champions League success.
The Giallorossi will kick off the new season against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi on Saturday and the tactician has insisted that his men will do everything they can to win at least one title this season, though Champions League qualification is still the top objective.
Garcia spoke during a pre-match press conference on Friday about Roma’s goals for the new campaign and confirmed that he still hopes to lead the Lupi to some trophy wins during his time at the club.
“We have big ambitions, I had originally come to Roma to win titles here,” said the 51-year-old.
“This year we will do everything we can in order to win something. However, our first goal is still to qualify for the Champions League.”
