Zanzi: Roma want to win every game

By Joe Avicolli

Roma CEO Italo Zanzi has revealed that the capital city club will be looking to win every game in order to collect as many points as possible during the 2015/16 campaign.

The Giallorossi failed to keep up with Juventus last season and barely managed to achieve second place, but the 41-year-old is confident that the Stadio Olimpico outfit will be able to earn positive results as long as they remain a group and work together.

Zanzi spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the quickly approaching season and commented on Roma’s goals for the campaign, while also commenting on Francesco Totti’s dedication to the Lupi and the possible arrival of Mohamed Salah.

“We want to win every game. Every year the championship is more difficult and the teams are more competitive,” said the CEO.

“We’re not making any predictions, we know that we will be ready for every game and we will try to earn as many points as possible.

“The gap between us and Juventus? All of the games are open, it will not be a matter of pinning us up against another team.

“We work to win against any rival, if we are a group then the results will come in the end.

“Totti is spectacular, I have never seen anything like it. He is the one athlete who has given more to a single sports team than any other person in history.

“Salah? I cannot say anything about him. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to say more.”
