Roma target Van der Wiel unsure of future at PSG

By Joe Avicolli

Roma target Gregory van der Wiel has revealed that he’s unsure of his future at Paris Saint-Germain, leaving the door open to a possible transfer to the capital city club.

The 27-year-old defender, whose current contract with the Parisians is set to expire in June 2016, has been followed by the Giallorossi for quite some time now and it seems like they may have a chance to secure him from the French side in the coming weeks depending on the club’s intentions.

Van der Wiel spoke to Le Parisien about his future at PSG and admitted that it’s in the hands of the Ligue 1 club’s executives.

“I’d like to stay here, but you should ask the club what they plan to do with me,” said the Dutch international.

“My future depends on the decisions of the leadership at PSG.”
