Roma are reportedly ready to make an offer for Sampdoria forward Eder in the coming days as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old, whose current contract with the Blucerchiati is set to expire in June 2017, was an important player for La Samp during the 2014-15 season, even earning a place in Antonio Conte’s Azzurri squad due to his impressive performances, and he has apparently attracted the attention of the Giallorossi in recent days.
According to Gazzetta.it, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is ready to make an offer of €10 million plus the services of Lupi youngster Daniele Verde to Sampdoria as an attempt to please club president Massimo Ferrero, who originally set a price tag of €15 million on the head of the Brazilian-born Italy international.
Reports also suggest that several clubs including Inter and West Ham are ready to battle the Stadio Olimpico outfit for the signature of the talent as well.
Eder scored nine goals and provided five assists in his 30 Serie A appearances last term.
