Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has revealed that he hopes to see his current contract situation resolved as soon as possible, as his future at the capital city club is up in the air at the moment.
The 27-year-old, who is still co-owned by the Giallorossi and former club Cagliari, is still unsure of where he’ll be playing next season, with the Lupi and the Rossoblu still yet to come to a permanent agreement, and he admits that he would like the two clubs to hurry up and come to a solution.
Nainggolan spoke to DhNet.be about his future with Roma and confirmed that he wants things to be resolved quickly and peacefully.
“There still seems to be a lack of an agreement between the two teams,”
said the Belgian international, who has also been linked with a possible move to Juventus in recent days.
“However, I hope this situation can be resolved as quickly as possible.”
The Stadio Olimpico outfit are reportedly set to meet with Cagliari to discuss the fate of the midfielder, who scored five goals and provided four assists in his 35 Serie A appearances last term, by the end of the week.
