Nainggolan wants to remain at Roma but the newspapers are creating another weird case

Radja Nainggolan wants to remain at Roma for a long time but his contractual situation is not totally fixed. The Belgian star loves the giallorossi and the city but the newspapers are trying to create another weird case.

The Belgian star Radja Nainggolan is definitely one of the best AS Roma players of this season. Walter Sabatini, the AS Roma Sporting Director, is perfectly aware of that and he will redeem the player. In order to do that the giallorossi will have to pay a big stake to Cagliari which owns 50% of Nainggolan’s contract. Recent rumors are stating that Roma will pay around Euro 15 M for the second half of the contract but it is a necessary thing to do in order to assure Garcia the performances of a great midfielder.

However, the Italian newspapers already began their usual tam-tam spreading weird stories out there. According to some of them Radja Nainggolan is going to leave Roma because the giallorossi wants to monetize him. Other newspapers are stating that Sabatini cannot find a deal with Cagliari also because there is the intromission of Juventus that would be more than happy to steel this strong player from its fierce rival.

I believe that the situation is quite simple and the deal between Roma and Cagliari is only a matter of time. Sabatini is deeply in love with the Belgian star as well as the passionate AS Roma supporters that would absolutely not accept to see Nainggolan’s departure. I also believe that a midfield line with Strootman and Nainggolan would give Roma great solidity for the next season.

In a recent interview that Nainggolan released to Gazzetta dello Sport the player stated:

“I’ll remain at Roma at 50%. I’m not worried, there is no problem at all. Roma and Cagliari will find an agreement soon. Sometimes things can go as you desire and sometimes not, this is life. I’m 100% concentrated on this experience at Roma, I love to stay here, the city is marvelous.”

The Nainggolan interview caused a great mess though. The Italian newspapers decided to frame his words in a negative context by stating that Radja Nainggolan’s future is very uncertain. The same player decided to replicate to them via Twitter:

“I just specified my situation. According to the federation I’m at 50%…I’m calm!”
