Iturbe being pursued by Premier League clubs, states agent
Gustavo Mascardi, agent of Roma forward Juan Iturbe, has revealed that his client is being pursued by two Premier League clubs at the moment.
The 21-year-old has only been with the Giallorossi since arriving from Hellas Verona in July 2014 but reports have already linked him with a move away from the club at the end of the current season, with Liverpool and Arsenal apparently ready to pay a large sum for his services.
Mascardi spoke to Radio Crc about Iturbe’s current situation at Roma and admitted that he expects the Argentine to remain at the capital city club for at least one more season.
“It’s true that he had almost joined Napoli, but then a clause relating to his deal at the time had messed everything up,” said the agent.
“I think he will be at Roma for the next season. However, there are two teams in England that are very willing to spend a lot of money on him, even the same amount that Roma paid for him.”
