Roma will reportedly fight with Arsenal for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech this summer.
The 32-year-old still has a contract with the Blues that isn’t set to expire until June 2016 but has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge outfit due to a lack of playing time in Jose Mourinho’s line up throughout the campaign.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the Gunners and the Giallorossi are the top contenders for his signature and both may be willing to splash out a fee of around €12 million for his signature, with the Lupi apparently being seen as the favorites to secure his services.
The Czech international, who arrived at Chelsea in 2004 and had been the club’s first choice keeper up until Thibaut Courtois joined the English side from Atletico Madird last summer, has made just five Premier League appearances this term thus far and is yet to concede a goal in England’s top tier this season.
