Sconcerti: “Juventus confused Roma exhausted!”

Yesterday AS Roma was not able to beat a team with an unknown future, Parma. This was definitely a surprise even because Garcia recuperated his pupil Gervinho.

It’s a shame that in this period Roma seems to not be able to impose its quality on the playing field as Garcia’s team was doing last season. It is a shame because Juventus is not the same war machine that it was just a few months ago and even yesterday against Cesena the Bianconeri demonstrated to be tired and distracted. On the other side Roma is more than distracted and as Mario Sconcerti, a famous newspaper director and actual opinionist at SKY Sport, stated the Giallorossi seem to be exhausted.

I totally agree with his point of view because Roma is mentally and physically exhausted because Garcia seems to be in total confusion. Bad choices and a module that is not as efficient as before and, moreover, Roma is absolutely predictable in its way to develop its action. For these reasons it’s not easy to positively look at Juventus’ draw against Cesena because even if Garcia’s guys are still 7 points below the team doesn’t look fit enough to fill the gap.

Temporary Standigs Serie A

In today’s newspaper (Corriere della Sera) Mario Sconcerti expressed his opinion about the challenge for the title:

“Juventus lacks personality and, even if I believe that they will win the Scudetto they look as tired as Roma is. It’s an anonymous team, I would say sometimes unrecognizable. Roma is exhausted and incomplete. Garcia never had a striker and most of the time they gave him jugglers on the playing field. This factor is making the difference so far. I also believe that Roma is paying a high price for Totti’s age. He seems to be exhausted too and what Roma really misses is his 10 goals in the season. Roma is not competitive in this moment because it doesn’t have a real striker.”
