Dan MEIS: “It’s the most important project of my life!”

The architect in charge of the realization of the project for the AS Roma stadium, Dan Meis, seems to be very excited to go ahead with what he stated to be the most important project of his life.
Around a couple of years ago James Pallotta and his group decided that the new stadium was a necessary requirement for Roma to gain more profits and reach the level of the top clubs in the world. In order to do that they contacted one of the best architects in the USA, Dan Meis, giving him the mandate. Meis and his group of architects created a super technological project for a stadium that will be recognized worldwide  as one of the masterpieces of the world.
Meis & Co exploited all their knowledge and creativity to let Roma obtain a great structure with many incredible features especially for an Italian stadium. Suites, monitors, the stands…everything will be super-fancy and the Roma supporters cannot wait anymore to see it realized.
Today, Dan Meis, met the students of the American University of Rome and he obviously spoke about his jewel:
“The Olympic stadium doesn’t offer a great experience because the stands are far away from the field. We want something that can be transformational. We began this project two years ago and I couldn’t not think about the Colosseum when we were realizing it. I admit that I have never been part of such a big project but I’m sure that we’ll do this stadium. We got thousands of emails to get ideas about how to realize the Curva Sud and we even thought about a lift to bring the players up to the field. I’m not building something to enrich my portfolio, I feel really responsible for this project.”
