After a great first half in which Roma scored with Destro and Florenzi Garcia’s guys just managed the ball during the second 45 minutes.
A rousing start similar to that one performed just a few days ago against CSKA in which Roma hid the ball from Cagliari and sometimes verticalised toward its wingers. Roma’s midfield line demonstrated a a great tranquility in moving the ball up and down in order to let Cagliari advance and hit them with speedy triangulations that were well performed.
A particular mention goes to Alessandro Florenzi that played a convincing first half in which he served a tasty chocolate to Destro to let him score an easy goal. A few minutes after Florenzi exploited a rebound between Gervinho and Cagliari’s defender and the Roman winger closed in to the net with a great shot in diagonal from the right to the left.
I would say another great performance of Keita that seems to wear a suit and tie in this league. He was simply extraordinary in managing the ball and spreading wisdom among his teammates and the opponents.
Roma gained another 3 points and joined Juventus at the top of the Serie A with 9 points.
