Parma-Roma: Garcia trusts his warriors!

Rudi Garcia held the pre-Parma vs Roma press conference and the French coach seemed to be really confident in the potential of his team. Garcia stated:

Parma…

“We are going to play against a difficult team who plays good football. They scored many goals but they suffered a few of them as well. It’s always tough to win away from home, but we must be ready to give everything on the field. There are no easy games in the Serie A. We must respect our opponents because they are a pretty good team. Sometimes we played very well and some matches seemed to be pretty easy but it was only because we were really accurate in scoring goals. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to win and we always give 100% to collect the three points.”

Paredes…

“He’s ready. He improved a lot and now he is at the same level of the rest of the group.”

Injuries…

“Injuries exist! That’s why we’ve put together a great roster. When you’re competing on multiple competitions they can happen. Fortunately, I have many good players to chose from which makes my job easier.”

Nainggolan…

“We’ve been fortunate to have played only every four days so far rather than every three. Radja is in good shape and has been one of the top performers so far. The players must be professional, not just during the training sessions but in their private lives as well. I would say that because we’re going to play every three days the players need to sleep well and eat healthily. I have total faith in them.”

Midfield line emergency…

“We have a year’s worth of experience and matches together. This is really important. After scoring the two goals against Cagliari, we showed great maturity in managing the possession of the ball until the end of the match. We must go to Parma to win without thinking about other matches.”

Ljajic…

“Adem is doing a great job during the training sessions. Matches are different, but I don’t have any problem with his performances so far. He’s an important player, a real talent. We don’t have any other players like him in our roster. He can be lethal, both individually and in terms of his impact on the team. I hope that the fans will realize that. I’m confident about him.”

Destro…

“What was said after Cagliari’s match will remain in the locker-room. Everything is ok.”

Iturbe…

“He’s already running during the training sessions, but he suffered an injury to a muscle that doesn’t usually cause problems to footballers. As a result, it’s better not to force the situation. It’s almost the same with Castan. He’s a real warrior and a very important player for us, but the most important thing is that he can fully recover.”

Holebas…

“He’s ready to play. We signed him to cover that position after we knew something more about Federico Balzaretti’s injury. Urby Emanuelson can also play in that position and he collected some good performances. I trust every single member of my roster.”
