Marino & Gaudo turn on the green light on the AS Roma stadium!

The awaited YES has arrived! The municipality of Rome expressed their positive judge on the AS Roma stadium. AS Roma’s supporters can celebrate because this is a historical moment for Italy but, moreover, for the city of Rome.

Assessor Gaudo opened the meeting saying “We concluded the investigation, today we declare the public interest of the proposal with conditions that must be met. 320 million will be allocated for the infrastructure outside the stadium of which 195 are in the public interest.

Mayor Marino expressed his happiness for this project saying that this is “A memorable day“. He also added “We have received a proposal for a project worth one billion euro which was initially inadmissible because an administration that have decided to invest a lot on the environment and transport could not allow that 21-22 thousand people could arrive at the stadium with scooters and other 20,000 with cars. Today we have a different project that moves 60% of the people with trains.” In addition the mayor of Rome also mentioned the park that James Pallotta & Co. will build saying that “The park was planned in the initial project. Now it is not only a design, it will be a park of 34 acres, largest of Villa Borghese.
