De Rossi: “Conte? I have positive feelings”

AS Roma’s star, Daniele De Rossi, spoke about Antonio Conte and the future of the Italian national team. De Rossi stated:

The press have misinterpreted my statements at the end of the World Cup. I never mentioned names. I do not hide myself, you know it. If I was speaking about someone in particular I would have done it. I do not like to talk about my coach because I don’t want to look like a pimp. However, I have positive feelings. He is probably the best Italian coach right now. We ran a lot these days and the outcome was positive. Prandelli? I wish him to do great things in Turkey. As always in Italy the first guilty is the coach. The ungrateful people forget what he did for the Italy but, unfortunately, we didn’t perform well in the World Cup and the critics are right.”
