The strong Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia that recently moved from Roma to Bayern Munich has been interviewed by in reference to his passed experience in Italy, his new experience in Germany and the Champions League. Below his most important thoughts:

“I’m very happy because Bayern Munich is one of the best teams in the world. I passed 4 amazing years in Italy but now I’m facing a new challenge.”

“In Italy I left teammates and friends. The Italian league is good but the Bundesliga is faster and harder. I’m confident to do well here as well.”

“Our group in the Champions League is really difficult. Roma is a very strong team. CSKA Moscow can create problems because it is not easy to go to play in Moscow. Then we all know that Manchester City is one of the top European teams. When I look at our squad, though, I’m sure we’ll make it.”
