According to SKY Sport UK, Louis van Gaal is firmly convinced that the strong Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia is what his team need to solve its defensive problems. As reported directly through the official website of the English broadcaster:
“Talks are reportedly continuing between the two clubs to agree terms on a deal for the Morocco international, with United keen to add to their thin defensive options.”
At around 7 am this morning SKY Sport UK also reported that Mehdi Benatia was flying to England for talks over a move to Manchester United. However, AS Roma have denied these rumors saying that no bid has arrived so far.
