The mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, has been interviewed by “Il Messaggero” in reference to the new AS Roma stadium:
“We support the philosophy of a stadium tied to a football team, but the project must have all the requirements to be acknowledged of public interest. I think some aspects of the plan submitted should be adjusted. We need adequate public transport infrastructure. Then it should be understood the total cubic volume that beyond the stadium they want to bring in that quadrant of Rome. We should also understand how to use it”
