Louis van Gaal: “We need defenders”

The best championship of the world finally begun…the English Premier League already reserved a great surprise. Yes, because Manchester UTD was defeated by Swansea at the Old Trafford! Undoubtedly, this was not a good start for the new Dutch coach Louis van Gaal that, at the end of the match, deeply analyzed the weaknesses of his team:

“We need defenders.”

That is the main point of what he said and Roma’s supporters had a chill on the back thinking about a possible last minute super-bid for Mehdi Benatia. Manchester UTD was already interested in the strong Moroccan defender, however, they never presented an official bid because van Gaal felt that Benatia’s price-tag was too expensive. The situation could rapidly change, because after this defeat Manchester UTD could re-think about this negotiation and due to the limited amount of time still available before the end of the transfer market period van Gaal could make an unreasonable offer.

Sabatini is calmly waiting for a crazy bid because even if it is not easy to replace Mehdi Benatia if Walter Sabatini can manage 40 million euro he could give exploit his creativity.
