Guinness Cup 2014: Manchester UTD vs Liverpool 3-1

Louis van Gaal’s group won the Guinness Cup 2014 thanks to a great second half in which they scored three goals. Steven Gerard, Liverpool’s captain, brought his team ahead thanks to a penalty but, in the second half, Manchester UTD demonstrated a great tactic and ball possession being able to change the result. Rooney was also named player of the tournament.

By speaking about the great English striker Louis van Gaal said:

“He is always a winner. He deserved to win this trophy but now we have to look ahead to the first match of the Premier League.”
