Good reaction of Garcia’s guys: Roma-Fenerbahçe 3-3

The presentation of the team has been really involving and exiting as well as the match between Roma and Fenerbahçe. Six goals, many errors and many emotions, a match played with highs and lows!

At the end of the match Rudi Garcia pointed out that his guys were a bit tired because they trained yesterday and this morning as well. His statement dampens the concerns of fans which saw their team also below 3-1 against the turkish team. Fenerbahçe seemed to be more fresh and snappy than Roma and, in this period of heavy workload, being in a better physical shape makes the difference.

The match has been really balanced, however, full of mistakes especially from Roma’s defense line. Castan’s injury complicated everything also because Astori and Romagnoli never played together before. Even Ashley Cole seemed better in the offensive phase rather than in the defensive one.

Great match played by Francesco Totti who has played in various zones of the pitch helping his team to develop their tactic. He was able to play as advanced director of the orchestra and during the first half of the match his quality made the difference. In the second half we noted a great performance of Juan Manuel Iturbe who often damaged the opposing defense. His competitive nastiness is simply incredible and compelling for his teammates. A special mention goes to Mattia Destro who scores in every match that he plays. Today two goals for the italian striker who is able to finalize like an expert bomber. Destro seems to be a great value for Rudi Garcia and slowly AS Roma’s supporters will understand it.
