Garcia’s resignation…

Yesterday has been a really important day for Roma. There have been many positive news such as Pallotta’s will to purchase the entire AS Roma’s stake, and the performance of the team that slowly seem to take the right shape. However, at the end of the match against Eltendorf, Garcia seemed to be resigned to the future developments of this transfer market window. Yes, we are speaking about Benatia!

Answering one of the many questions about the strong Moroccan defender Rudi Garcia said:

“The player has still a long contract with us!”

Undoubtedly, this seemed to be a strong stance in reference to this summer saga, however, some people know how to talk with their eyes…and Rudi Garcia’s eyes were just sad and resigned to lose his favorite defender.

Garcia’s resignation is justified because in the last few days there have been many rumors of incumbent bids arriving from England and especially from Chelsea. One thing is sure…if Sabatini receive a 38 million euro bid he must sit with the bidder and evaluate Benatia’s departure. Garcia understood that but he strongly advised the AS Roma sporting director that he wants to know Benatia’s future now because he needs to cope with Benatia’s possible departure by finding the right alternatives for his defense line.

Garcia’s resignation seems to be clear to all…now Sabatini and Pallotta must decide what to do!
