Paolo Fiorentino was interviewed by “Corriere della Sera” in reference to the recent agreement that Unicredit found with Pallotta for the AS Roma stake. He stated:

Football was more fun or fatigue

A suffered path with many obstacles. An experience that, in a hypothetical second life, I would not like to experience againThere have been many discussions, even within UniCredit, but we felt a responsibility, as a corporate citizenship“, towards an important asset for the city. It was an adventure out of the banking rules. Football is too irrational.”

What UniCredit leaves to the Italian football and what Pallotta brought here in Rome…

It was the signal of the end of patronage, that is financially unsustainable. I see that other Italian companies have followed this path that I would call a managerial path.”

About Tom DiBenedetto…

He was the first to approach us. From the beginning it was evident that he could not do everything alone, but we had confidence in who was behind him...James Pallotta.”

Chen Feng

Important and interesting man, but with biblical times. He probably would have liked the direct control of the club that Pallotta wants to keep in order to open up to other investors, such as Starwood.”

Pallotta and the stadium…

I am optimistic that it will be built but do not ask me about the timing. In Italy there are always too many actors involved.”

Sensi, UniCredit and Pallotta, gave positive signs of change…

Rosella Sensi is an extraordinary woman, animated by a great passion, but she was in a complex financial situation. The entry of the Americans imposed a business model that, in some cases, may not please the fans, but that is a response to the problems that patriarchal management were unable to solve.”
