Just last week we were here to report the rumors that two AS Roma’s emissaries were in Turkey to reach an agreement with Fenerbahçe for the midfielder SalihUçan (read the article). Those rumors were true and just in today’s edition of “Il MessaggeroS. Carina gives some details of the operation which seems to be practically closed.

AS Roma will pay approximately 10 million euros (plus bonus) to the Turkish club.

SalihUçan is excited about this new experience and for the first time also his father spoke about this imminent transfer:

“Yes, it is true, Salih could go abroad. It’s not a problem if the player will not play many times in the first year…He will need time to settle in a new country.”

Let’s discover who Salih Uçan is…

Salih Uçan is a young Turkish midfielder with a great future in the world of football. He is born in Marmaris (January 6, 1994) and grew up in Bucaspor. Many European emissaries have quickly noted the talent of the young Turkish boy, however, the Fenerbahçe managed to catch him before that Manchester City and Valencia could make an offer.

The rest is recent history.

SalihUçan managed to convince his coach and subsequently he demonstrated his technique and creativity. The Turkish boy is now ready to play at a higher level, in a league more important than the Turkish one.

At this point Walter Sabatini comes into play falling in love for the qualities of the talented boy.

In conclusion, if there will not be an incredible and improbable rethinking, SalihUçan will shortly be an AS Roma player. This player could be a real shot in perfect Sabatini style.
