Sabatini’s silences are a hope for the future

Data by Transfermarkt

AS Roma’s transfer market seems to be locked and some supporters are already believing that during this transfer window nothing important will be done. Where is the top player? Why is Sabatini not closing deals? Why is Gracia constantly asking for ready players but newspapers and media only talk about the arrivals of secondary players?

Not to panic guys. He is only secretly working to avoid market speculation and leak of news that could increase the price of some players.

Sources close to the AS Roma’s management report that Sabatini is very keen to buy a couple of great players. Garcia’s requests to strengthen the team with experienced players will be granted.

One of the big player will be a striker able to cover different positions in the forward line. Cuadrado is Sabatini’s preferred player for that role and, if Barcelona will not close the deal soon, he would like to try a final assault to convince Fiorentina’s president, Della Valle, to sell the Colombian wing. The second option is still Iturbe also if in the last week too many teams are looking forward to the talented Argentinian wing. AS Roma doesn’t want to enter in an auction for this player and €25 million is already considered a huge investment for a young player.

The second big investment will be made in the left-back sector of the pitch. Some media reported that Luis Enrique refused any offer for Adriano but probably the truth is a bit different. Enrique likes Adriano but for a good offer he could sell the player in order to reinvest the money in Marquinhos who costs around €40 million. Barcelona is actually experiencing some tax problems and, during this transfer window, it may not be able to spend a huge amount of money. The solution would be to finance its purchases by selling some players…Fabregas‘ transfer is there to confirm this theory.

That’s all guys. The names that are circulating in these days are only minor tweaks. The transfer market bombs are coming soon!!!
